Kygo and OneRepublic Drop Bizarre Green Screen-Powered Music Video for "Lose Somebody"

Using green screens, Kygo and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder journey through time and space.

Just under a month after the release of "Lose Somebody," Kygo and OneRepublicshared a bizarre new video for their collaborative effort. Considering COVID-19 has made it difficult for artists to work together in person, the acts took advantage of green screen technology to simulate being together.

Starting off relatively normally, the video gets progressively quirkier over time. Viewers get to witness Kygo and vocalist Ryan Tedder's multi-dimensional road trip featuring a wild cast of supporting characters, including a giant ostrich and robot.

The track was released as a single off of Kygo's freshly released third studio album, Golden Hour. In addition to OneRepublic, the Norwegian tropical house pioneer joined forces with Sandro Cavazza, Tyga, Zac Brown, and more for his third LP.

"Lose Somebody" by Kygo and OneRepublic was released on May 15th, 2020. You can download or stream their team-up tune here.
