Nicky Romero is back with another high energy club single, “Burning.” This time teaming up with Nashville singer/songwriter Jordan Grace, “Burning” follows the tried and true Nicky Romero formula, but puts a little 80’s spin on it for a fun and energetic track that sees the Dutchman flex some production muscle.
The song opens up with Jordan Grace’s vocals, he’s burning deep down, not sure about what, but I feel it. The track immediately builds up with some trademark Nicky Romero synths, the drop hits with horns layered over the synth melody for a bouncy combination. After the first drop we get a vocal breakdown from Jordan Grace and this is where the track goes full 80’s. I can picture a singer with a perm and a pink bomber jacket. Now it’s time for the second drop, and oh boy, there’s some good stuff in there.
