Ephwurd and SWAGE first released “Hectic” in February 2019. Now they’re back with a new VIP, leaning into the heaviness of the original tune and revamping it as a psy-jungle vibe VIP.
The original is truly worthy of its namesake, a chaotic bass house tune with heavily textured synths and a sort of grainy melody that gives it a bit of punk-ish appeal. The new VIP goes even heavier into its electronic roots with a faster tempo and heavy psytrance drop right off the bat. The second drop is a sort of mixture of breakbeat and trap that is absolutely addicting.
