The super talented scratch-battle DJ and producer Level Up (otherwise known as Sonya Broner) is about to drop a suitably heavy sound for GRVDNCR. Coming in fresh this Friday is her creepy-edged ‘Bedtime Stories,’ which we are premiering today.
Having honed her craft alongside Rob Swift and turning to dubstep creation after being inspired by the likes of scene stalwarts Caspa and Rusko, Level Up has established her own unique take on the genre and earned herself top performance slots at festivals and tours along the way.
She reveals that this record is inspired by scary movies, revealing “My goal was to create a song that would make you feel like you’re in your own haunted story.” Expect dark yet playful melodies and a strongly contrasting bass line with this one; it will keep you guessing.
