Here with a bang this New Music Friday is a fresh sound created by Stefy De Cicco and Kriss Raize. Putting the shine back on the Eiffel 65 classic ‘Blue,’ the esteemed artists deliver this version for Universal Music Germany.
De Cicco, which originally started out as a duo before Brazil’s Darliane Ferreira joined them last year, have scored millions of streams for tracks like ‘Day ‘N’ Nite’ with Martin Jensen and most recently ‘Te Boté.’ Raize is a huge talent in his own right, putting a Latino spin on dance tunes and collaborating with vocalists like David Celine.
Since the original ‘Blue’ came out in 1998, it has retained its status as one of the most easily recognised club anthems of its time. It now sounds instantly fire-fuelled and progressively charged, bringing in punchy additional riffs alongside its driving main melody.
Stefy De Cicco share: “It’s such a big honor to get to work on this record, a big dance music classic. We added our sounds to this great melody and are super happy with the result… very excited to see the if people will like it as much as we do!”
