Diplo‘s social manager has confirmed new music on the way from Major Lazer.
2020 hasn’t been kind to the music industry, but Diplo has stayed dedicated to his craft. First, a country album in May, with Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil. Then, the drop of his ambient album, MMXX, released today.
Next up, jahan, Diplo’s social manager, confirms incoming Major Lazer (see screenshot below). Diplo said back in March that the new (and final?) Major Lazer album was finished and he even shared some of the unreleased music via live stream — but this update locks in a 2020 release.
Previously, Diplo stated: “Next year marks our last album,�so we got a lot of stuff in between now and then.†At the time, his quote suggested a 2019 release and we’re still waiting. Hopefully we’ll be hearing those good vibrations very soon.
